Volunteer Needs

The PAC Executive strives to coordinate fundraising initiatives throughout the school year to help fund opportunities for our students above and beyond the scope of public funding.

This year, we are challenged to work within the current COVID-19 restrictions, which limits what we can do and how we can do it. That means, we need to do the best job we can with the activities that we undertake - and we need your help to do that!

 

Below are some of the upcoming events and activities that we need volunteers for. 

​

Holiday Wreath Sales Coordinator

This is a one-time program in Nov/Dec. 

Leads the holiday wreath sales at the school with support and direction from the PAC Executive team. 

​

Santa Event Coordinator

This is a one-time event in December (potentially two events).

Coordinates the Santa events at the school with support and direction from the PAC Executive team. 

 

Purdy's Campaign Coordinator(s)

This is a one-time campaign running from mid-November to early December.

Coordinates the Purdy's chocolate holiday campaign with support and direction from the PAC Executive team. Most of the work is picking up the orders, organizing and distributing them to recipients. Two parents could work together on this.

Partnership Program Lead

This is an ongoing role throughout the school year. The time commitment is approx. 1-2 hours/week working at your own pace.

​

 

Social Media Lead

This is an ongoing role throughout the school year. The time commitment is approx. 1-2 hours/week working at your own pace.

​

Helps build social media followers and creates regular content that is beneficial to OC families. The PAC Executive team will help guide and support this position.
